GreenTech Amsterdam will open its doors again for the third time from 12 – 14 June. The GreenTech Summit will take place on 11 June 2018, preceding the exhibition at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre. GreenTech Summit offers investors, growers, breeders and suppliers an unique opportunity to network, but primarily also to participate in a high-quality programme. Entitled: ‘The future of horticulture – insights for the next decade’ visionaries and experts will share their visions of the horticulture sector in 10-years’ time. Speakers include Christiaan Kromme (author of ‘Humanification – Go Digital, Stay Human’), new generation leaders in horticulture (Stijn Baan, Martin Koppert and Charlotte Langerak-Visser) and medicinal cannabis specialist Chris Walsh.

The Summit’s programme consists of the following elements:

During the afternoon, participants can attend two breakout sessions. There are three subjects to choose from:

Featuring speakers including Charlotte Langerak-Visser (Viscon Group), Marieke de Ruyter de Wildt (The Fork) and Hajo Beijma (Singularity University).

The day will be concluded by Christian Kromme (trend watcher and author of ‘Humanification – Go Digital, Stay Human’). Christian will share his insights during his presentation entitled ‘The next big wave of change in (Green) Technology’.

Steven Newell (member of the GreenTech Summit Committee and CEO of Windset Farms): “It is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to contribute as a grower to this years’ inspiring GreenTech Summit. The Summit provides international operating growers and investors thought provoking ideas and concepts surrounding modern horticulture with an eye to the future and of what lies ahead for the industry. I recommend attending the breakout sessions ‘Next Crops’ and ‘Next Growing Solutions’ as I’m sure there will interesting discussion and a lot to take away.
